History
This conference (ICPSSI-3) is organized as a succession of the 1st International
Discussion Meeting on Superionic Conductor Physics (IDMSICP-1) held in
Kyoto (10-14 Sept. 2003) and the 2nd International Conference on Physics
of Superionic Conductors (2nd ICPSSI) held in Yokohama (16-19 Dec. 2007).
The number of participants were 46 (8 countries) in Kyoto and 161 (11 countries) in Yokohama. In these conferences, many topics related to fundamental aspects of superionic conductors were discussed deeply.
The subjects discussed in IDMSICP-1 were published as a book, "Superionic Conductor Physics (World Scientific, 2007)". The subjects discussed in the 2nd ICPSSI were published in "Solid State Ionics, Vol 180, Issues 6-8 (2009)".
